Spring and Fall Caucuses

DRUUMM leadership prioritizes a Spring and Fall virtual caucus each year hosted via Zoom. Our caucus programs are organized by and for members, and occasionally for interested BIPOC Friends. We generally coordinate with UU Allies for Racial Equity who host a concurrent antiracist White caucus.

Our Spring Caucus 2023 has been rescheduled from April 29 to Tuesday, May 23rd 4:30pm to 6:30pm Pacific. We will be hosting a special UUA Presidential forum with candidate Rev. Dr. Sofia Betancourt. This is a member-only caucus. Check your membership status at druumm.org/membership and register for free for our May 23 caucus at druumm.org/events.

Past programs have focused on:

  • Racial/ethnic caucusing and building solidarity between Black, Indigenous and People of Color
  • Gender and LGBTQ identity and liberation
  • Spiritual journeys and theological traditions
  • Geographic communities
  • UUA Programs, Policies and Presidential Elections

We are regularly seeking volunteers from our membership to help develop and lead our caucuses, facilitate small groups, and offer their gifts to our community. Reach out if you’re interested in getting more involved.
