Seeking Steering DRUUMM APIC Steering Committee Members

It’s that time of year again… We are currently looking for 2 more members to join our DRUUMM Asian/ Pacific Islander Caucus steering committee. Could this be you?

You’ll be joining the continuing members — Kate Goka, Ameena Amdahl-Mason, Alex Lee-Jobe and parnee poet. We hope to continue to offer Virtual Coffee Hours to build connections and community. And we are also hoping to work with DRUUMM on an Asian/ Pacific Islander American UU worship service in the coming church year as well as make more connections with API UUs worldwide. Even though things have been different this past year, we hope that our APIC spaces have offered a place of refuge and renewal for you.

The main time commitments for being a steering committee member are:
  • monthly steering committee meeting (about 90 min)
  • monthly Coffee Hour (1.5-2 hours)
  • occasional newsletter articles or asking members to for submissions
  • other areas that are of interest to you
We want to send deep thanks to Amlan Mukerjee and Florence Tang for all they brought to our group for the last two years as they rotate off the steering committee. It’s been a pleasure and honor to learn from and grow with you!
