This Week's Quote
“The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. The opposite of art is not ugliness, it's indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, it's indifference. And the opposite of life is not death, it's indifference.”

Dear Folks,
I am exploring the possibility of starting a DRUUM Chapter(?)at my church. Following the “If you build it, they will come” concept. I am a member of the UU Church of Davis. We have a handful of people of color at our church. There is even one African American woman who is on the verge of leaving the church because she wants to give her 2 young sons more experiences with other people of color, which doesn’t exist at our church. How would I go about doing this?
In faith, Alex
Hi Alexandra,
You should soon be receiving an email from Robette Dias, a member of the DRUUMM Steering Committee and a fellow Californian. If you’d like to get in touch with her directly, email her at secretaryrec at druumm dot org.
