For all DRUUMM Members.  Today, June 13th, your DRUUMM Steering Committee met via teleconference and agreed by consensus to the following accountability policy for GA:

Members in DRUUMM leadership (Steering Committee members) will respond to inquires as representatives of the organization only in situations where the SC has had a chance to discuss and develop a position.  In cases where there has not been a SC decision/discussion, individuals are responsible for making clear that they’re offering their personal opinion.  Situations warranting a SC position will be brought to the attention of Manish (DRUUMM Pres) or Danielle (DRUUMM Pres-elect) for follow-up with the whole SC.

The Steering Committee agreement to accountability may be useful for our general membership to know, as many of you also receive individual requests/queries at GA.
