Dear friends,

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of Doris Edwards’ death on Monday, February 5th. Doris was a longtime member of The Community Church of NY and a faithful GA attendee. Over the decades Doris took many, many, many pictures, especially of ministers and laity people of color and of Latin/Hispanic ancestries at GA and other important gatherings, documenting and recording major events in our history. Doris’ pictures are being donated to the Sankofa Archives for everyone’s benefit and as a tribute to her life and ministry. We will miss her. Memorial information will come later.
